Newcastle United will stage a party like no other on Saturday.
Indeed, for the first time in 70 years, Newcastle United can celebrate winning a major domestic trophy with their jubilant supporters.
A wonderfully impressive Newcastle beat Liverpool 2-1 in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley earlier this month and of course paraded the trophy on the pitch after the game.
Still, such is the nature of modern football and the demanding calendar for the players, most of Eddie Howe’s squad quickly jetted off on international duty not long after.
Now, however, with the club not involved in the FA Cup quarter-finals, Newcastle players and staff will able to show off the Carabao Cup trophy in the city.
Newcastle have confirmed a bus parade from St James’ Park to the Town Moor on Saturday afternoon. Once at its final destination, there will be a Q&A with players past and present along with Howe himself.
Thousands are expected to attend but supporters around the globe will also be able to join in from afar.
Here’s everything you need to know about where to watch.
