Newcastle United will be aiming to pick up another important win when they travel to Leicester City in the Premier League.
The Carabao Cup celebrations may have finally ended but the good times keep on rolling for Newcastle United.
Eddie Howe’s side returned to Premier League competition with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Brentford on Wednesday.
Sandro Tonali’s absurd goal was the difference after Alexander Isak tapped in the opener just before half-time.
Securing a Champions League place is now the top priority for Newcastle and they must get a victory at lowly Leicester City to ensure they keep on track against Chelsea, Manchester City and Aston Villa.
Here’s everything you need to know about the fixture.

Leicester City vs Newcastle United team news
Newcastle have a few injury concerns going into the game.
Alexander Isak and Kieran Trippier left the field with groin problems against Brentford, while Joelinton is also dealing with a knee issue.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Howe could not confirm if the trio will be available: “I’ll wait and see today (on Isak, Trippier and Joelinton), of course, I had medical updates. But I’ll be seeing them for the first time today.
“We don’t think we’ve got any big injuries from Wednesday, just a couple of niggles. Hopefully they’re feeling OK.”

Howe was more hopeful on Joelinton, though: “We hope so, he’s another one in the category who’s got a niggle. But knowing Joey, he’ll probably say he’s fine today and good to train.
“So we’ll have to manage him, look after him and manage the next three days.”
Newcastle would hope to welcome Anthony Gordon back to the fold after his three-game suspension, but the winger is dealing with a hip injury picked up on international duty.
Howe added: “No, he hasn’t (trained), he’s another one we’re monitoring.
“We still think he’s recovering from the really, really bad knock he got for England. He’s still got big bruising on his leg. So he’s done individual training, no group training. He’s still not 100%, so let’s see.”
Matt Targett could return after illness but Lewis Hall, Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles remain sidelined.
Leicester, meanwhile, are only missing Issahaku Fatawu.

Prediction
Despite their mounting injuries, Newcastle should have more than enough to blow a pitiful Leicester away.
The Foxes have lost their last seven matches without even scoring a goal, and have lost 14 of their last 15 in the league.
With the confidence Newcastle have, this could be a whitewash.
Prediction: Leicester 0-5 Newcastle.
