Antoine Griezmann has taken Newcastle United to new heights…on Football Manager.
As France prepare for this summer’s Euros, the nation’s official Twitter account posted a clip of the players travelling.
In the video, Griezmann tells teammate Ousmane Dembele about his incredible achievements with Newcastle on computer game Football Manager.
The forward has won multiple trophies, including the Premier League and the Champions League.
Not only that, but he also signed his international teammate Kylian Mbappe for £115million. Pure fantasy.
Mbappe didn’t sound too enthused, replying: “It is not very warm there eh?”
Well Griezmann has taken his Football Manager exploits even further after posting a wonderfully photoshopped picture on his Instagram story.
As seen above, Mbappe is ‘pictured’ holding a Newcastle shirt alongside his ‘manager’ Griezmann on the hallowed turf at St James’ Park.
He’s wearing the number seven shirt, which is set to become free with Andy Carroll reportedly leaving this summer.
Sadly, I doubt Steve Bruce will be able to replace him with one of the world’s greatest forwards. There’s probably more chance of Griezmann becoming manager…

Interestingly, these are the calibre of players we were being linked with this time last year.
When PCP Capital Partners’ takeover seemed to be on, we were being linked with elite level stars every day.
But while the saga rumbles on, the transfer rumours have died off.
This time last year it was Kalidou Koulibaly and Edinson Cavani. 12 months on and it’s Kristoffer Ajer and Josh King.
