Newcastle United will travel to Wembley Stadium for the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.
The Magpies will be backed by over 30,000 fans at Wembley on Sunday, willing their team on to end the 70-year wait for a trophy.
Newcastle United will be motivated by the news that Dan Burn received his first England call-up on Friday, with the 32-year-old joining Anthony Gordon and Tino Livramento in Thomas Tuchel’s squad.
However, Gordon will miss the Carabao Cup final through suspension, a blow for the 24-year-old who also missed the 2023 final due to being cup-tied.
Toon boss Eddie Howe has worked wonders with this Newcastle side since joining in 2021, already etching himself into the history books. The 47-year-old can solidify his legendary status at the club by winning the Carabao Cup for Newcastle on Sunday.
With the trip to Wembley on the horizon, Howe has sent a heartfelt message to the fans who will be in attendance.

Eddie Howe’s request to Newcastle fans
Howe has taken a much more reserved approach to the upcoming final in comparison to how his side prepared in 2023. Newcastle have operated as normal and are keen to ensure the emotion of the occasion doesn’t get the best of them.
It has also been confirmed that Amanda Staveley will attend the Carabao Cup final. The former Newcastle owner had a frosty end to her time on Tyneside but has been invited to Wembley by the club for the occasion.
Speaking to the press on Friday morning, Howe was asked about the importance of the fans ahead of the game.
“They always are (going to back the players), we know from the last time we got to the final, the feeling of support and unity.
“We are absolutely going to need them; we need every bit of help we can to push ourselves over the line.”
Despite injuries to Sven Botman and Lewis Hall, Howe still has a strong squad at his disposal for the final with every other player still available for Sunday.

Newcastle star speaks to Toon legend
Newcastle captain Bruno Guimaraes has already dreamed of lifting a trophy at Wembley – his dream could come true on Sunday.
The Brazilian will fly out to Brazil after the final alongside Joelinton for international duty, but that hasn’t distracted him from the final at all.
In his pre-match press conference alongside Alexander Isak, Guimaraes revealed he has spoken to Newcastle legend Rob Lee about the game.
“I spoke with Rob Lee — the last player to score at Wembley for Newcastle (25 years ago) I touched his feet to give me a little bit of luck!”
Newcastle’s win against Arsenal in the semi-final was dedicated to Lee by Guimaraes who has formed a lovely friendship with the former Toon star in recent months.
