The agent of Jonathan David expects his client will leave Lille at the end of the season, amid recent transfer links to Newcastle United.
The star has been enjoying a terrific season over in France.

David is currently the top scorer in Ligue 1 with 12 goals, which accounts for just under half the club’s total (23).
David’s electric form has led to speculation that he could soon move on from the current Ligue 1 champions.
The star’s agent said last week that he expects his client to leave the club in the summer (via L’Equipe): “For us, the goal is to finish the season in Lille, but it will be his last season there for several reasons.
“I think the Premier League is a great option for him. I think he likes Spain a lot too because he likes the feeling of the ball and the very technical players.”
Newcastle have been linked with a move for David in recent weeks, but one wonders if the news about Callum Wilson will now prompt the club to ramp up their efforts to sign him.

Craig Hope tweeted that the striker is set to miss Newcastle’s January games.
The 29-year-old could miss up to six weeks, which is surely going to push Newcastle into action next month.
One wonders if David might be the man they plump for.
He’s been in red-hot form this season, and the electric Canada international looks to be amongst the most exciting prospects in Europe at the moment.
Could Callum Wilson injury see Newcastle ramp up efforts to sign Jonathan David?
So David’s agent believes the Premier League could be a good fit for his client.
He’s also hinted that the 21-year-old is set to stay put until the end of the season.

But Newcastle have not lost their biggest goal source for potentially up to six weeks. The club simply have to bring in cover, and it would make sense for someone to come in who is also used to playing in a partnership.
David – who has previously been likened to Luis Suarez – has forged a great understanding with Burak Yilmaz during his time at the club.
There is potential he could do the same with Wilson once he recovers.
