Bruno Guimaraes is unable to hide his delight following one of his Newcastle United teammates’ return to full training.
The Brazilian superstar could soon have a new midfielder partner this season, with Joe Willock now closer than ever to a return to action.
The 24-year-old has not played for Newcastle since May, when he suffered an injury during a 4-1 win over Brighton.
It has been a long road to recovery, but Willock returned to training last week and Eddie Howe has since confirmed that he is now closer than ever to playing in a black and white shirt once again.
And following his return to training, Willock has delivered an emotional message as he reflects on his rehabilitation.

Joe Willock grateful as he returns to Newcastle training
After Newcastle trained ahead of their Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund, Willock took to his official Instagram account to send a message to supporters.
He wrote: “So happy to be back with the team. It’s been a challenging journey. I want to express my deepest gratitude to all the people who supported me during this time. Your encouragement and well wishes meant the world to me.”
The former Arsenal player’s post prompted a reply from teammate Bruno Guimaraes, who is clearly delighted to have ‘Willockinho’ back.
He commented: “Willockinhooooo is back. very happy for you my g.”
Willock very popular at Newcastle
Bruno is absolutely buzzing to have Willock back, and they will soon be playing alongside each other once again.

The timing of his comeback is perfect, as it coincides with Sandro Tonali’s imminent ban. The 23-year-old is being investigated by the Italian Football Federation for betting and looks set to be banned for the rest of the season.
Willock can fill the void, and Toon fans will be very excited to see him back in action. He was outstanding last season, and is one of those players who can still get even better.
There has been excitement behind the scenes about his impending return, and now it is closer than ever.
Willockinho is back, and hopefully it is not long before he reminds us why he has been given such a special nickname.
