Newcastle fans have made themselves very clear. We want Steve Bruce out of the club.
The Magpies’ terrible start to the season continued on Saturday, with a 2-1 defeat to Wolves.
It was another turgid performance by Bruce’s side. They failed to create many chances, while they were cut open with ease at the other end of the pitch.
That makes it zero wins from seven Premier League games – zero wins from eight in all competitions. Going into the second international break, Newcastle are 19th in the table.

They’re one of four clubs without a win so far, alongside Southampton, Burnley and Norwich City.
Fans have made their feelings known on social media and at the match. We want Bruce to leave. That’s been the consensus for a while now, even before supporters were allowed to return to St James’ Park.
But the ‘we want Brucey out’ chants can be heard loud and proud from the stands, while one fan found a creative way to get his message broadcast on Sky Sports.

On Sunday evening, Sky Sports Arena broadcast the darts, with the World Grand Prix 2021 kicking off in Leicester.
And, as seen below, one spectator brandished a sign saying ‘Bruce out’ while master of ceremonies John McDonald spoke to the camera.
Hopefully Mike Ashley is a fan of the darts, and saw the sign last night. However, even if he did, when has he ever listened to Toon fans?
