While the present is pretty pleasant for Newcastle United, what lies ahead promises to be even more exciting.
For the first time in decades, the promise of tomorrow seems a gift rather than a curse, with everything about the club pointing to a constant improvement.
Indeed, Amanda Staveley herself took the opportunity to vow that Newcastle would be back to win every trophy available following the Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester United. If anything is going to tell you about the level of the club’s ambition, that is surely it.

Staveley, along with PIF, clearly have huge plans for Newcastle. Another big summer of spending can surely be expected, while there are reports of a new training ground in the offing.
In fact, they may not stop there.
Newcastle have plans for multi-club model
Following up on a recent report from 90Min, Staveley confirmed while speaking at the FT Business of Football summit that Newcastle had looked at the multi-club model deployed by Manchester City.
“We have obviously looked at multi club. We’ve got to make sure we’ve got the right fit,” she said (via Fabrizio Romano).

Interestingly, the 90Min report claimed PIF were looking to buy a club in Europe first, namely in France or Belgium, before further expanding their empire.
What are the benefits of multi-club ownership?
According to the National Law Review: “Operating under an MCO [multi-club ownership] allows clubs to benefit from sponsorships and other commercial deals negotiated at the group level, while also increasing individual brand awareness for each respective club.”
Given the FFP concerns Newcastle have been dealing with of late, that could be a huge help.
