Joelinton did something that Newcastle United fans are sure to love after their win against Wolves yesterday.
The Brazilian midfielder is yet to commit his future to the club as talks about a new contract continue, but he looked pretty happy to see his teammates secure the win on Saturday.
Joelinton wasn’t available to play because of his long-term injury, but he was recorded in the tunnel after the game celebrating with his teammates and embracing fellow Brazilian Bruno Guimaraes.

Most Newcastle fans are very hopeful that the 27-year-old will soon announce his intentions to stay at the club, but there’s been very little said on the matter by both player and Eddie Howe.
Both parties would obviously like to come to a compromise at some point given the connection he’s already established with the fans, but at the end of the day nothing is ever guaranteed in football.
His reaction after the win against Wolves will certainly give the supporters hope that he is very keen to stay at the club and that Bruno is doing everything he can as well to encourage his good friend and international teammate to stay.
Given his development under Howe and the progression he’s made even in the last year it feels like there’s unfinished business for Joelinton at Newcastle where he could really write his name in Newcastle’s history books by helping them win some silverware.

Newcastle absolutely need their Brazilian star
If the last few weeks have taught Newcastle anything it’s that Joelinton is an integral part of their midfield and should absolutely be in their plans moving forwards if they ever want to be successful.
Newcastle have talented players in Sean Longstaff and Lewis Miley, but neither offer the physical and battling presence of Joelinton who not only covers so much ground but can win the ball back in a great position and drive the team forwards.
His absence was most obvious in the game against Arsenal which was ultimately embarrassing for both the players and staff.
In the reverse fixture at St James’ Park Joelinton was such a key part in the 1-0 win and not having his presence in the midfield hurt Newcastle badly, they just can’t afford to sell him in the summer.
