Bruno Guimaraes was like a lot of Newcastle United fans on Tuesday night for the Carabao Cup clash with Arsenal.
There were 6,000 Newcastle United supporters inside the Emirates Stadium, while the rest were forced to watch on the television at home.
That included Bruno Guimaraes, who was suspended for the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg.
That was a big worry, but it did not matter in the end. Newcastle United beat Arsenal 2-0, as they gave themselves the advantage ahead of the second leg on February 5th.
Bruno was delighted with Newcastle’s performance, and so he should have been. The Magpies were absolutely incredible in North London, as Bruno celebrated Newcastle’s win with his family.
Bruno Guimaraes reacts to Anthony Gordon vs Arsenal
The 27-year-old did not travel with the group, and was quick to praise one of his teammates on social media after the game.
Anthony Gordon scored Newcastle’s second goal of the night, as he reacted quickest to Alexander Isak’s saved shot. It could prove to be a pivotal goal, and Gordon celebrated by copying Thierry Henry’s iconic celebration.
It was an impressive performance from the 23-year-old, who took to Instagram afterwards.
He posted a picture of his celebration, alongside a salute emoji.
Bruno replied to Gordon’s post, commenting: “What a player man.”
There was also a message from Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White, who wrote: “Warra playa.”
Gordon also received comments from Elliot Anderson, Shay Given and Liverpool’s Curtis Jones.

Bruno Guimaraes is right to heap praise on Anthony Gordon after his performance against Arsenal.
He scored a pivotal goal, but his display was about more than just finding the net.
Gordon’s pressing from the front was incredible, and it helped set the tone for an incredibly disciplined performance.
The winger also led the line briefly in the second half after Eddie Howe decided to withdraw Alexander Isak. Gordon was unphased by the positional change, and continued to defend from the front.
But what will be remembered most is Gordon’s goal, as he got rewarded for gambling at the back post. He has now got seven goal contributions in his last seven games, as he plays a major part in this spectacular run of form for Newcastle United.
Anthony Gordon is back to his best, and deserves all the praise that is coming his way.
