While the away form Eddie Howe’s side have shown this season has been pretty dismal, they’ve now made it three consecutive wins on the road.
Indeed, Newcastle followed up victories at Fulham and Aston Villa with a 3-2 win away at Nottingham Forest, albeit the 4-4 draw with Luton in between was certainly frustrating.
On the night of a crucial victory, it was Bruno Guimaraes who stood out. The 26-year-old scored two excellent goals to help get Newcastle over the line in a game they really needed to win.

They could yet qualify for European football in at least some capacity but they have to have their star players regularly doing the business in order to do so.
If they are going to make a run for the top six at the very least, Guimaraes – in this kind of form – will no doubt be crucial.
