Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe is expected to rotate heavily for Wednesday’s Carabao Cup clash against Bradford City.

Indeed, while Newcastle United vs Bradford City is an important game in the club’s season, Howe has his squad to think about.

The Newcastle United manager has confirmed that he will continue to rotate his squad as they battle across several fronts this season.

With that in mind, more changes are expected. Howe made seven changes from the team who lost to Barcelona in the Champions League for Sunday’s Premier League draw at Bournemouth.

Something similar could happen again, even if Newcastle are hardly going to completely overhaul their side as they begin their defence of the Carabao Cup trophy.

Newcastle United confirmed team news vs Bradford

Newcastle remain without all of Yoane Wissa, Jacob Ramsey and Fabian Schar for the game.

Howe has previously indicated that the likes of Jacob Murphy and Joelinton are still nursing slight injuries, too.

Nick Woltemade is still adapting to life at a new club and may not be risked ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Arsenal.

Sandro Tonali may be due to a rest, with Bruno Guimaraes left on the bench for the Bournemouth game.

Speaking ahead of the Bradford clash, Howe confirmed there would be “an element of rotation”.
