Alexander Isak wants to join Liverpool from Newcastle United this summer, that much is clear.
Still, such is the magnitude of the transfer saga, there have been all manner of reports about Newcastle, Liverpool and Isak.
The fact is that Liverpool are yet to make an offer for the Sweden international. Isak remains a Newcastle player with three years left on his contract, while the club do not want to sell him.
There is, of course, a chance that Liverpool’s offer could be so compelling that the Newcastle United owners simply cannot refuse it.
Still, PIF have long insisted that Isak isn’t going anywhere and Geordie Boot Boys understands that the deal is perhaps not as advanced as is being reported elsewhere.

Alexander Isak yet to agree terms with Liverpool
Transfer insider Graeme Bailey told the website that Isak is in fact yet to agree terms on a move to Liverpool.
While personal terms are not expected to be an issue for the Sweden international, talks have not yet reached that stage.
Newcastle, meanwhile, are still expecting an opening offer from the Premier League champions.
The Newcastle United owners reportedly believe Isak is worth more than £150million.
Where Alexander Isak actually is during Newcastle United transfer saga
Newcastle haven’t seen Isak since he made himself unavailable for the pre-season tour of Asia, which perhaps says an awful lot about how he’s feeling right now.
According to The Chronicle, the forward has returned to former club Real Sociedad to undergo an individual training regime in a bid to keep fit.
At every step of the way, Isak has let Newcastle fans down this summer. Wanting to leave is one thing and frankly understandable at this point given the struggles the club are enduring off the pitch.
Still, the manner in which this has all played out is utterly disappointing.
