Newcastle United are willing to pay £60m to sign Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo, according to Mail Online.
The 21-year-old has received heavy speculation since impressing in the Premier League this season. Furthermore, the Ecuadorian’s stock has once again risen following an impressive campaign at the World Cup.

As a result, Mail Online now report that Caicedo’s £60m price-tag set out by Brighton is unlikely to put the Magpies off a prospective transfer.
Additionally, it is also believed that West Ham United view the youngster as a long-term replacement for Declan Rice, who is likely to leave in the summer.
The Tyneside outfit join the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United in the race to secure the player’s signature.

Out in Qatar, the Ecuador international continued to impress. Caicedo played the full 90 minutes in each of his nation’s matches, starting in the XI as either a central midfielder or a defensive midfielder.
The 21-year-old even scored in their final fixture against Senegal, levelling the score-line 1-1. If this result had remained the same, this goal would have taken the South American side through to the last 16 of the competition.
Despite his best efforts, Caicedo will now have to turn his attention back to club football.
