Newcastle United full-back DeAndre Yedlin has reportedly emerged as a target for Turkish giants Galatasaray.
Multiple outlets in Turkey, including Haber 7, have claimed the USA international is close to sealing a switch to Istanbul, with Gala swooping for cover for the injured Omar Elabdellaoui.

Yedlin’s contract at St. James’ Park expires in the summer, and there has been on sign of an extension.
Yedlin recently expressed his frustration about the lack of movement on his immediate future, suggesting he has been in the dark about the situation.
SBI Soccer claimed earlier this month that the player has been considering a serious offer from an unnamed MLS side.

And most recently, there have been reports (Shields Gazette) that Yedlin currently has work permit issues, which prevented him from featuring against Arsenal and Aston Villa last week.
It now remains to be seen what happens with the player, with only a few days remaining in the winter transfer window. Ajansspor say the fee would likely be close to free for Gala given his situation.
Yedlin has actually been one of Newcastle’s better performers this season, and his exit likely wouldn’t go down too well.
Act quickly
Whatever Newcastle decide to do with £30,000-a-week star Yedlin (Spotrac), it needs to happen quickly.
There are only a few days remaining in the transfer window, so if the Magpies are wanting a replacement for Yedlin his exit needs facilitating very soon.
Given how the situation is, it would be no surprise to see Yedlin sold in the next few days, with one of Emil Krafth or Javier Manquillo becoming a regular.
