Former Newcastle United star Elliot Anderson could be on the move for major money next summer.
Anderson left Newcastle United for Nottingham Forest in 2024, and the Magpies have regretted that ever since he departed.
Eddie Howe admits Newcastle sold Anderson too cheaply, with Forest thought to have paid around £35million for him. Newcastle, however, paid a large portion of that back to the City Ground club by signing goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos in a PSR-imposed transaction.
The Newcastle academy graduate has gone from strength-to-strength since leaving his boyhood club. Now a fixture in the England team under Thomas Tuchel, the 22-year-old looks almost certain to head to the World Cup next summer.
Such has been the rapid-fire nature of his development, major interest is also seen as likely to emerge.

Nottingham Forest could sell Elliot Anderson for over £100m
According to The Daily Telegraph, Forest are unlikely to accept below £100million for Anderson next summer.
Manchester United have been linked with Anderson, while the likes of Manchester City have also been credited with an interest.
With four years left on his contract at the City Ground, Forest are in a position to demand huge money for the player if rival clubs do indeed come calling next summer.
How Newcastle United feel about Elliot Anderson now
Geordie Boot Boys understand that Newcastle would love to re-sign Anderson.
That, however, looks difficult. The club have never paid anywhere near £100million for a single player and that feels unlikely to change in a PSR world.
Dan Burn hailed Anderson as a “top player”, and it feels like everyone at Newcastle knew that even before he left the club.
To watch him become the player he was always predicted to be at another major club will be painful for Toon supporters.
Sadly, that seems like the most likely outcome right now.
