Newcastle United have already let several players go this summer.
While Eddie Howe’s side remain on the hunt for incomings during what remains of the transfer window, Newcastle have been active when it comes to departures.
Callum Wilson left the club on a free transfer, while Sean Longstaff has joined Leeds in a deal that could be worth up to £15million if various add-ons are met.
The Newcastle United squad isn’t the deepest and additions are desperately needed, although the outgoings could continue.
Indeed, it seems back-up goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos has found a club he’d be willing to join.

Odysseas Vlachodimos wants to join Sevilla
The Greek international joined Newcastle last summer, as part of a PSR-enforced transaction that sent Elliot Anderson to Nottingham Forest.
The goalkeeper made only one appearance last season, playing against Wimbledon in one of the early rounds of the club’s successful Carabao Cup campaign.
Vlachodimos rejected a move to Mexican side Pumas but, according to AS, he would be open to a move to Spain.
Sevilla are said to be interested and the player himself would be open to a move. Still, Newcastle would have to pay a “significant” portion of what they call the goalkeeper’s “juicy” salary in order to facilitate a move.
Vlachodimos’s Newcastle salary is understood to be around £50k-per-week.
Why Newcastle United can’t sell Odysseas Vlachodimos this summer
Newcastle are in a difficult position when it comes to the 31-year-old.
The club cannot afford to sell him cheaply and the fact he hardly featured last season means he’s unlikely to attract much in the way of significant offers.
Selling Vlachodimos cheaply would impact Newcastle’s PSR position, with the £20million spent on signing him amortised over the length of his contract.
Hopefully, Sevilla could contribute at least something towards his salary. Any little will help, it seems, for Newcastle.
