Following the sale of Anthony Gordon, Newcastle United are looking to add to their squad.

Munoz is said to be a leading transfer target. The 22-year-old, who is part of Spain’s World Cup squad, scored six goals in 34 La Liga appearances from left wing last season but is capable of playing across the frontline.
However, according to Luke Edwards, there is a concern on Tyneside.
Newcastle wary of rival interest in Munoz
Indeed, The Daily Telegraph writer claims that there is at least a degree of concern at St James’ Park that rival clubs will look to sign Munoz this summer.
Newcastle have certainly been burned before. Last summer was littered with high-profile rejections, including one from a star player who the club were paying a handsome salary to.
How does the idea of MORE star players leaving after Anthony Gordon make you feel?! 😡
Still, the report adds that people at Newcastle have been led to believe that Munoz – who started his career at Real Madrid – would like to join them.
It also claimed that Newcastle are seriously interested in AIK winger Zadok Yohanna, though this report suggests that the idea of a £21million bid accepted is not the case yet.

Yohanna is an 18-year-old right-winger from Nigeria who has also been linked with Chelsea and Brighton. Newcastle, for their part, are wary that their name is just being used in media reports to spark a potential bidding war.
Edwards goes on to say that there is a confidence that Newcastle will soon seal an agreement with Reims for highly-rated young goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen. The France U21 could even sign for the club next week.
Newcastle are looking to sign younger players this summer compared to last and it appears as if they are making a proactive start.
