Newcastle United are reportedly hoping to prise Boubacar Kamara away from Marseille for around £12 million.
The club are continuing to push to sign Joe Willock from Arsenal.

Apparently Steve Bruce is expecting to find out whether a move can happen within 48 hours.
He is the number one priority for the Magpies, following a highly successful loan spell last season.
The Daily Mail have reported that while Willock is the priority, Kamara is wanted in addition.
According to the publication, Newcastle are hoping he can be prised away for £12 million.

Earlier reports had suggested Kamara had a £15 million price tag.
Whether this would be doable for Newcastle without selling a player or two first remains to be seen.
It has been widely reported that the club are working with a very tight transfer budget.
Kamara and Willock would imprive Newcastle massively
Newcastle’s midfield currently leaves a lot to be desired.
It is little wonder Bruce has a firm despire to rejuvenate it.
Bringing in Willock is obviously the biggest thing for Newcastle, but getting Kamara in too would be very good business.

French clubs have been hit hard by the pandemic so hopefully there’s a genuine chance for a transfer.
Kamara is a very promising talent, whose defensive qualities also enable him to operate in defence which is always handy.
