Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich star Corentin Tolisso.
Jeunes Footeaux have claimed the Magpies have joined the race for the midfield maestro.

But the club could face competition. North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be in the hunt.
Tolisso is out of contract next summer. That means Bayern will need to consider selling in January to avoid losing him for free.
Tolisso has been with the German giants since 2017, joining from Lyon.
He has racked up 105 appearances for the club so far, and won the league title every season he’s been there so far.

He has also won the Champions League and several domestic cups.
Tolisso was also a part of the French World Cup-winning squad in 2018.
The 27-year-old has had injury problems this season, which have limited him to just four appearances in the Bundesliga.
Tolisso has previously been compared to Toni Kroos by former France international and ex-Bayern player Jean-Pierre Papin in terms of style of play.
Corentin Tolisso would be a fine addition for Newcastle and Eddie Howe
Newcastle seem to want a midfielder that is good on the ball. The club were recently linked with a move for Adrien Rabiot.
With Eddie Howe looking to turn Newcastle into a more possession-based team, Tolisso could make for a great addition.
By his own admission, he doesn’t dribble past several players in games.

But he is a very effective playmaker. He is superb on the ball and has really good vision.
Howe needs a top-quality central midfielder who is comfortable on the ball and can dictate the tempo of games. Tolisso is certainly capable of such things.
