As well as bringing in new recruits, Newcastle will also be looking to sell some current players in January.
The transfer window is set to be a crucial month for the Magpies, who need to get things right to boost their survival hopes.
Plenty of players have been linked. There’s been realistic domestic targets and ambitious rumours about European stars.

But regardless of who Newcastle bring in, they will certainly need to move some players out.
And Newcastle World have named two players who the new owners could look to sell next month.
Newcastle may try and sell two defenders in January
They state that PIF and co could look to move on Ciaran Clark and Federico Fernandez when the January transfer window opens.
The former has started twice since Howe took over, but hasn’t featured since his shocking red card that infuriated Toon fans and club legend Alan Shearer. As for the latter, he filled in for Clark after his moment of madness against Norwich.

Fernandez played incredibly well that night, but wasn’t rewarded with a place in the starting XI. The 32-year-old remains out of favour at St James’ Park, despite being massively popular with fans.
Newcastle’s priority in January has to be improving the defence. We need at least one centre-back, and we’ll need more if we sell both Clark and Fernandez.
The pair have both done well for the Magpies during their time in the North East, but a possible departure might be for the best if the club are going to be making plenty of signings in January.
