Newcastle United-linked defender Ozan Kabak is reportedly now wanted by Tottenham Hotspur.
According to TMW, the Turkey international is on the radar of Spurs’ new director of football Fabio Paratici.
Kabak is highly likely to be on the move soon, with Schalke having been relegated at the end of 2020/21.
He spent the second-half of last term on loan at Liverpool, but the Reds won’t be exercising their option to buy clause.
It seems interest is very high in Kabak following his few months in England.
TMW say that as well as Spurs and Paratici, Atalanta, Lazio, Roma and Inter Milan are all said to be keen.
The interest from those clubs follows claims Newcastle are eyeing the 21-year-old.
The Magpies were looking to bring him in in January, but were pipped to the post by Liverpool who were in a defensive crisis due to injuries.
Kabak deal will be difficult to do
Kabak’s performance’s for Liverpool appear to have piqued the interest of plenty of clubs.
That’s not good news for Newcastle if the club still had hopes of landing him.
It’s previously been reported that Schalke are after £18 million for their player.
With so many clubs seemingly interested, he could well end up being even more expensive than that.
