Another player who has been linked with Newcastle United is now reportedly bound for Norwich City.
Manchester United defender Brandon Williams is now said to be in advanced talks with the Canaries (Sky Sports).

The Premier League new boys are named as the frontrunners, and The Athletic add that a deal could be announced in the coming days.
Sky’s article mentions Newcastle, and the fact the club have been long-term admirers of the 20-year-old.

Ultimately a move never came to fruition, but the player was linked again in June, with talkSPORT’s Alex Crook claiming Newcastle were keen.
Norwich landing Williams would be the second time this summer that a player has moved to Carrow Road after being linked with Newcastle.
It was reported (Northern Echo) the Magpies had been keen to take Billy Gilmour on loan from Chelsea.
The Scotland international completed his move to Norwich on July 2.
Williams could have been handy
It looks like Williams will be following Gilmour to Carrow Road.
It’s unclear how much Steve Bruce wanted to get him in this time around.

But his name has frequently been linked with Newcastle throughout 2021, suggested there is/was some interest there.
Able to play both left and right-back, Williams could have been a decent little addition.
