Newcastle United have discovered they may only have to pay as little as £13 million to sign Nikola Milenkovic this summer.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via The Sun), Fiorentina are under a bit of pressure to sell in the next window.

That’s because it’s the last chance to get a decent fee for him before his contract expires in the summer of 2023.
Milenkovic, though, is on the radars of several other clubs.
Manchester United are said to be keen on the 24-year-old. AC Milan and Inter Milan are also interested.
The Red Devils supposedly sent scouts to watch Milenkovic during Fiorentina’s game with Bologna last weekend.
Last month, there were claims that Newcastle had interest in the player.
The Magpies battled hard to bring in centre-halves in January. But the club found things difficult due to clubs not wanting to sell mid-season and also their own league position.

Ultimately, the club only managed to sign Dan Burn, who was been superb since his arrival.
The club had chased Sven Botman and Diego Carlos, but were unsuccessful.
There is a high chance that Newcastle will sign at least two new centre-backs in the summer. Time will be on their side this time, and Milenkovic could well be someone they take a look at for just £13 million.
The Sun had previously reported that Fiorentina had wanted £37.5 million for the star.
£13 million for Nikola Milenkovic is a bargain Newcastle should be all over
Of course, with several other clubs keen on Milenkovic, it’s unlikely he will ultimately be sold for as little as £13 million.
But it is a very low starting price, and even several million above that would be good value.
The 6ft 5in star is a fearsome central defender, and obviously really excels with aerial duels.

He has lots of experience despite still being relatively young, and also has 32 caps for the Serbia national team.
If Fiorentina really are valuing him this low, then it’s a no-brainer for Newcastle to get involved.
