Newcastle United would reportedly need to fork out around £12.8-£14.5 million to sign Nuno Tavares this summer.
That is the claim from journalist Fabrizio Romano, who says the full-back is now attracting a fair bit of interest.

Apparently, Napoli and Lazio have been in contact with his agents, as have Arsenal.
Newcastle were linked with Tavares back in April.
Record claimed the Magpies could soon open negotiations with Benfica.
It was claimed Newcastle had tried to find out if the club would be willing to sell this summer.
Unfortunately for Newcastle, it seems a move for the player could be difficult.
Romano adds that the player’s preference would be Arsenal, and that personal terms wouldn’t be an issue.
It seems the ball is in the Gunners’ court, but Romano states the Premier League is Tavares’ dream, meaning there could be a shred of hope.
Newcastle may miss out on a gem
It looks as though Tavares could be north-London bound.
That would be a shame as the left-back position is still somewhat weak.

Matt Ritchie has been linked with a return to Bournemouth, and it would be no surprise to see that move come to fruition.
Jamal Lewis struggled in his first campaign and could perhaps do with a loan or someone coming in to push him.
