Newcastle United transfer target Declan Rice has admitted that he does have interest from other clubs heading into the summer transfer window.
The West Ham captain is set to be a man in demand, with multiple clubs keen to snap him up. Newcastle have been linked, while there has been talk of a move to Bayern Munich.
However, it is Arsenal who appear to be the favourites to secure the 24-year-old’s signature.
Speculation surrounding Rice‘s future will surely ramp up now following the conclusion of West Ham’s season. It ended with incredible joy, as the Hammers beat Fiorentina 2-1 to win the Europa Conference League.
Rice lofted the trophy high above his head after what could be his final game for the club, and he spoke about his future after the full time whistle.

Declan Rice admits ‘there is interest’ from other clubs
Rice spoke to BT Sport after winning the Europa Conference League, and was asked about a possible move away from the London Stadium.
“At the moment there’s a lot of speculation going on about my future,” he said.
“There is interest from other clubs but ultimately I still have two years left at West Ham. I love this club and I love playing for this club.
“My focus is playing for West Ham at the moment. I’m captain of this club and I can’t speak highly enough of this place. Let’s just see what happens. Let’s wait and see. Who knows?”
Newcastle likely to miss out
Rice is fairly coy about his future. He has not ruled out a move away from West Ham, but has expressed his love for playing in claret and blue. I mean, how could he not feel like that after Wednesday night?!
It was a special night for West Ham and a special night for Rice, who captained the Hammers to their first trophy since 1980. What an achievement from an incredible player.

But this summer could be when his West Ham journey comes to an end. There are plenty of clubs chasing his signature, one of which is reportedly Newcastle.
However, it feels incredibly unlikely that we will see Rice arrive at St James’ Park. While he would be the dream addition for many fans and could take our midfield to an even greater level, finances will likely ensure that the England international does not swap West Ham for Newcastle.
That is a real shame, as he could be the perfect addition to Eddie Howe’s Champions League Mags.
