Long-term Newcastle United target Christian Pulisic is said to be available this summer for and has been offered out to clubs.
According to a report in ESPN, several clubs including Newcastle United have been offered the chance to sign the USMNT captain for £20million this summer but Juventus lead the way.
Newcastle were looking at Christian Pulisic in the January window but opted to sign Anthony Gordon instead.
Newcastle were ‘obsessed’ with Christian Pulisic
The ‘amazing‘ 24-year-old has a year left on his Chelsea contract but it seems The Blues will try and sell this summer to recoup a chunk of the £57million they paid Borussia Dortmund back in 2019 rather than lose him for free next year.
Back in February, Fabrizio Romano claimed Newcastle were ‘obsessed‘ with Pulisic and would be able to sign him for £35million this summer. Now it seems that £20million would seal the deal, but it remains to be seen if Newcastle are still interested.

According to ESPN Pulisic has been offered to Manchester United, Newcastle, Napoli, AC Milan and Galatasaray but it’s Juventus who are currently in pole position despite refusing to match Chelsea’s wages.
If the Magpies sign Dominik Szoboszlai they’ll likely not move for Pulisic
Newcastle have their eyes on many targets for Pulisic’s position, so it will depend how far down Eddie Howe‘s list the American is as to whether Newcastle will try and battle Juventus for his signature.
Personally, I don’t think this will be one we’ll pursue if the noises surrounding Dominik Szoboszlai are true. If signing the Hungarian rules out a move for James Maddison then it would almost definitely mean we won’t move for Pulisic. Unless, of course, the club feel that £20million is an offer too good to turn down.
There’s no doubt that Pulisic is a good player and would be a very useful addition to the squad as we look to add depth ahead of a tough campaign.
