Newcastle seem desperate to land a new right-back before the transfer window closes on Thursday. Jayden Bogle is a new name to be linked, but we won’t be seeing Djibril Sidibe in a Magpies shirt this season.
According to L’Equipe, the Monaco defender is heading to Everton on loan, which will certainly be a blow for any Newcastle fans who still had hopes of seeing him in black and white.

We were linked with the World Cup winner a couple of weeks ago by RMC Sport, but that was as far as our interest seemed to go. And now he’s seemingly Premier League bound, with Everton the team set to benefit from Sidibe’s talents.
Newcastle reportedly want Bogle
But while it looks like Newcastle have missed out on one target, a new name has entered the mix. TEAMtalk claim that we are one of multiple teams interested in Derby’s Jayden Bogle.
The teenager enjoyed a breakthrough season at Pride Park last time out, narrowly missing out on promotion. At 19, he fits the profile of a Newcastle signing, unlike Ahmed Elmohamady who the Sun claim Steve Bruce is interested in.

Of course, the link is tenuous as TEAMtalk aren’t always bang on with their transfer claims. And even if they were, they report that other teams such as Aston Villa are also interested.
Newcastle currently have DeAndre Yedlin and Javi Manquillo as right-back options, but Bruce obviously wants a new face in that position. However, not many of the reported targets seem to be better than what we already have.

The most likely to arrive seems to be Swedish defender Emil Krafth, who currently plays for Ligue 1 side Amiens.
Reports in France over the weekend claimed that Krafth will join the Magpies, while the Northern Echo state that Newcastle are confident of a deal.
