We are into the final days of the transfer window now and the transfer rumours around Newcastle continue to swirl.
A shock report from the Spanish media claimed Alvaro Morata of Atletico Madrid is a potential target.
Where have these claims come from?
The claim has been made by Spanish sports radio show El Partizado de Cope, and been relayed by the Sun.
Morata is currently on loan from Atletico to Juventus but the Old Lady could let him leave this month because they are on the verge of signing Dusan Vhalovic.
The Magpies have been linked with a shock loan swoop for the man who cost Atleti £58.3 million (Sky Sports) back in July 2019.

Would Morata be a good signing?
Morata has of course played in England before with Chelsea and struggled for form in front of goal.
He scored 16 Premier League goals in 47 appearances in a team which created far more chances than Newcastle will.
That said, the key with Morata seems to be that he wants to feel loved and believed in.
If Eddie Howe can do that for him, and the Newcastle faithful can roar him on in every game, we might see a different player.
He has played for some of Europe’s biggest clubs and been part of two Champions League winning squads so there is obviously a real player in there when he’s at his best.
That said, it is important to play this one down.
It looks unlikely, because Barcelona and Tottenham are sniffing around. Also, his wages are expected to be huge as well.
It would be a shock if this one came through between now and the end of the transfer window, with recruits in other areas of the pitch seemingly more advanced.
