Newcastle United are in the race for the Premier League top four, and there is no surprise that they are being linked with players ahead of the January transfer window.

Jonathan David is on Newcastle’s radar, while Marc Guehi is also still a target for Eddie Howe

Newcastle are said to keen on Geovany Quenda, while Joel Ordonez has also been linked with the Magpies.

Another player who is being linked with Newcastle is former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Newcastle United linked with Paul Pogba

Italian news outlet TuttoJuve has claimed that Newcastle and West Ham United are the two Premier League clubs who are keen on a deal for Pogba in the January transfer window.

Newcastle think that Pogba can “become a key player” in the team in the second half of the season.

The French midfielder will leave Juventus at the end of November after agreeing a mutual termination of his contract.

The 31-year-old will be able to start training in January. Pogba, linked with Newcastle in 2022 as well, will be eligible to play again from March.

What Newcastle United fans think of Paul Pogba

As you can see below, Newcastle fans are not impressed at all with speculation linking Pogba with a move to St. James’ Park.

They do not want the midfielder in their team and have noted that he has not done well at other clubs in recent times.
