Paul Pogba is out of contract at Manchester United at the end of the season, sparking potential interest in his future.
The Sun report that Newcastle are among the clubs keen on the French World Cup winner if he departs Old Trafford as a free agent.
They say that Juventus, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are favourites to land Pogba, but Newcastle, as well as Aston Villa are monitoring the situation.

Pogba has been an enigma throughout his time in English football.
There is passing quality and strength there but he does not influence matches anywhere near often enough at club level.
For France, he is a different player, perhaps because he has a more defined role in a higher quality squad full of elite players.
Match of the Day host Gary Lineker is clearly a fan…
It has recently been reported that Newcastle are not expected to spend more than £100 million in the forthcoming transfer window.
As a free agent, Pogba would not command a transfer fee but his wages would be huge and perhaps his agent Mino Raiola would want any potential suitor to reflect their saving on buying him in the salary he is offered.
Newcastle need young, hungry players to take them where they want to go and from that point of view, Pogba would be one to avoid, but perhaps it is a situation to watch with interest.
