Lille reportedly want £47 million if they are to sell in-form striker Jonathan David, who has been linked with Newcastle United.
The Ligue 1 outfit do not necessarily want to lose the Canada international, but Jeunes Footeux say the club would remain attentive if a proposal of at least £47 million came in.

David has been in fine form so far this season.
He has 13 goals so far this term in just 23 appearances.
11 of those have come in the league, making him the competition’s top scorer. He’s two clear of the next man on the list, Strasbourg’s Ludovic Adjorque, and four clear of Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe.
It was claimed last month by Le10 Sport that Newcastle were looking at David as a possible January incoming.
Newcastle are not the only Premier League team to have interest in David.

Jeunes Footeux say that Arsenal are keen on the 21-year-old.
The Gunners will be needing fresh blood up top soon, with question marks about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s long-term viability and Alexandre Lacazette out of contract next summer.
Newcastle should think twice about spending £47 million on Jonathan David
Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
While David is a player with big potential, that’s a lot of money to pay for someone who hasn’t been on the scene for very long.

There’s every chance he might not hit the ground running coming into the Premier League.
At this moment in time, Newcastle should be looking to get players who have less risk attached.
The Magpies need players who are likely to come in and make an impact right away. The club’s precarious position demands it.
