There are expected to be big changes at Newcastle United this summer.
In an ideal world, Newcastle would not be losing any key players over the next few months.
However, the priority surely must be to keep a hold of the likes of Alexander Isak and Bruno Guimaraes despite their links with a move away from St James’ Park.
With that in mind, others must depart in order to create space on the wage bill.
One of those who will be leaving, albeit he was perhaps not pulling in the largest of salaries and won’t command a transfer fee is young forward Amadou Diallo.
Though a player Eddie Howe reportedly liked, the 21-year-old confirmed over the course of the weekend that he would depart.
While not a regular first-team player, many of his teammates sent a classy message to Diallo after the confirmation of his imminent exit.

Kieran Trippier and Lewis Miley respond to Amadou Diallo’s Newcastle exit
Diallo took to Instagram to address Newcastle fans about leaving the club upon the expiration of his contract on June 1st.
He wrote: “My time at @nufc has come to an end.
“Firstly, I would like to thank the club for giving me the great opportunity of playing for them. I would also like to give a massive thank you to the fans for their support as I really enjoyed representing the club.”
Kieran Trippier and Lewis Miley were just some of the players to comment, with Trippier responding : “Good luck lil bro.”
Miley added: “All the best in the future Amz.”
Amadou Diallo won’t be the only player leaving Newcastle this summer
A lot of players appear to be coming towards the end of their time at Newcastle.
Indeed, both Matt Ritchie and Paul Dummett could reportedly leave having reached the end of their respective contracts, given they are unlikely to be offered fresh deals after the Magpies missed out on Europe.
Loris Karius is another soon-to-be free agent who could depart.
Then there’s Trippier himself, with the England defender said to be facing an uncertain future. Miguel Almiron is also thought to be attracting from Saudi Arabia, while Callum Wilson may go.
It seems there could be a lot of turnover this summer…
