The fact that the World Cup – the first major tournament of Nick Woltemade’s career – is just around the corner is partly why he is taking a relaxed view on his situation at Newcastle United.

Woltemade wants no distractions before the World Cup
According to leading German outlet BILD, part of the reason why Woltemade is reasonably relaxed at this stage is because he does not want any distractions before the World Cup.
The forward is set to represent his country in the tournament this summer and is thought to be the first reserve to starting striker Kai Havertz.

It’s claimed that while his relationship with Eddie Howe has cooled, nothing will be decided until after Germany’s World Cup campaign.
