Newcastle United are being linked with a move for Christian Eriksen.
The Magpies are apparently keen to swoop for the Brentford playmaker, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

The Denmark international only joined the club in January.
He signed on a deal until the end of the campaign, but the 30-year-old has really imrpessed for the Bees.
He has played a big part in the club pulling clear of the relegation zone, and they will undoubtedly hope to keep him around.
But his form has resulted in other clubs looking at him, and it’s very possible he could move on.
Newcastle are said to be interested (90min), and he would bring a lot of quality to Newcastle’s midfield.
He is mainly known for his vision, executing passes into the final third and chipping in with a goal here and there.

But Eriksen also takes a pretty good free-kick, which is always a trait that can be very handy.
In January, Newcastle signed Kieran Trippier, and the full-back has already scored two free-kicks for the Magpies.
If the club signed Eriksen this summer, then Newcastle would become very dangerous from free-kick situations.
Interestingly, Trippier gave an interview in 2018 with the Guardian in which he said that he would never have an argument with Eriksen about who takes a free-kick.
He said: “Me and Christian, if we have a free-kick and I place it but he says he fancies it then I’ll let him take it, no problem.
“No problem at all. If he came up to me and said: ‘I fancy this,’ I’d say: ‘Take it, mate.'”
So it’s possible Eriksen would become Newcastle first-choice taker if he signed.
Christian Eriksen would just be a brilliant addition by Newcastle
Eriksen is showing that he still a top quality player, and Newcastle should be all over him this summer.
As much as the Magpies are going to spend, it’s important to snag those free signings.

Eriksen on a free is a no-brainer. He’s vastly experienced in the Premier League, and he is a brilliant creator.
And that set-piece ability is definitely an added bonus. He scored eight in total in the Premier League for his previous club Tottenham Hotspur.
With him and Trippier stood over dead balls next term, there won’t be a goalkeeper in the Premier League that isn’t at least slightly concerned.
