Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has already achieved a lot since replacing Steve Bruce at St. James’ Park.
The former Bournemouth boss took the reins on November 8, signing a contract until 2024.

He wasn’t everybody’s top choice. Indeed, many fans were hoping for Unai Emery or Paulo Fonseca.
Some pointed to Howe’s defensive record during his time at Bournemouth in the Premier League and suggested it would be a mistake to hire him to guide the club away from relegation.
But so far, Howe has made for an excellent appointment.
And one of the most striking things has been the way he’s got a tune out of the players that were struggling under the previous manager.
The likes of Joe Willock, Jonjo Shelvey and Ryan Fraser have massively improved.
But there is one project in particular of Howe’s that is seriously impressive.

Joelinton has gone from a £40 million laughing stock of a centre-forward, to one of the Premier League’s top box-to-box midfielders who’s now priceless for his club in the space of just a few months.
The Brazilian had actually been enjoying a decent campaign under Bruce as most of his teammates struggled.
But since the arrival of Howe, Joelinton has totally and utterly transformed.
It is genuinely difficult to believe that this is the same man that was jeered off by some Newcastle fans in an FA Cup game with Rochdale last season. The same man who slated week in, week out prior to 2021/22.
Thanks to the guidance of Howe, he is unrecognisable now from that player.
Players will look at Joelinton’s transformation into a midfielder and want to play for Howe at Newcastle
Howe is doing a great job, but it could be that players are really looking at what he has done with Joelinton.
This is truly one of the greatest turnaround’s for a player in Premier League history.
If Howe can help someone who was struggling so much to become this high-quality, other stars may be thinking he can help them too.

Any individuals thinking about a possible new chapter in their careers may now be thinking Newcastle could be a great next step for them.
A good example could be Marcus Rashford, who was linked with the Magpies earlier this week.
The forward may see what Howe’s done with Joelinton and want a slice, if he is indeed open to leaving Manchester United.
