Tino Livramento has become a fan favourite since arriving at Newcastle United.

Joining from Southampton in the summer of 2023, Tino Livramento has now become a firm fixture in the Newcastle United line-up.

Learning his trade from the likes of Kieran Trippier, Livramento is set to have a bright future on Tyneside, so with that being said here is everything you need to know about the youngster.

Tino Livramento age and birthplace

Tino Livramento is 21-years-old, having been on 12 November 2002.

He is English and was born in Croydon, South London. Livramento was picked up by Chelsea’s academy aged nine.

Livramento’s mother is Scottish and his father is Portuguese, meaning despite featuring for multiple England youth sides, the full-back is eligible to play for both the Scotland and Portugal national teams.

What position does Tino Livramento play?

Livramento is a versatile full-back who can play on either side of the defence. He has featured most for Newcastle, as a right-back.

Tino Livramento joined Newcastle from Southampton for £32 million, in the summer of 2023. Livramento spent two years on the south-coast enjoying a very successful first year at St Mary’s, only for injury to rule him out of his second season.

Joining Southampton from the Chelsea academy in 2021, Livramento’s first seven months at St Mary’s could not have gone any better. That was until he suffered a serious ACL injury during a 2-2 draw with Brighton in April.

An injury many do not recover from, Livramento’s recovery was initially slow but he is now back up to full speed, putting in a number of impressive performances for Newcastle during his debut season.

Tino Livramento wage and contract

Tino Livramento earns £50,000 a week, equating to roughly £2.6 million a year – according to Newcastle wage reports. The youngster’s contract runs to 30 June 2028.

Livramento has become a fan favourite amongst the Toon Army since arriving on Tyneside, so much so fans have created a chant for him.

The chant which is the same they sang for cult-hero Tino Asprilla, echoes around St James’ Park every time Livramento steps onto the field.

In an interview with The Telegraph, the youngster described the chant as “amazing”, also stating:

“Even when I’m playing in the game, I’ve got to stifle a smile. I love it. Being from London, they’ve taken to me so well. It’s like I’m one of their own.”
