Newcastle United may soon have a full midfield of Mileys with Mason Miley now making his way through the academy.
Lewis Miley made his Newcastle United breakthrough last season during an injury crisis and has not looked back.
He made 26 appearances across all competitions before suffering an injury that ended his season. Miley is now back fit for Newcastle and ready to compete for a starting spot under Eddie Howe.
Lewis’ brother Jamie Miley is also on the books at St James’ Park and is one of six Newcastle players out on loan this season.
Jamie Miley is on loan at Newport County as he attempts to join his younger brother in the first team.
Another Miley will soon be knocking on the door with 15-year-old Mason Miley also impressing in the Newcastle academy.

Mason Miley is wowing Newcastle United academy coaches
At just 15, Mason Miley is already breaking into Newcastle’s Under-18s side.
Just like his older brothers Jamie and Lewis, Mason plays in central midfield, specifically as a defensive-minded midfielder.
He has already made six appearances for the Under-18s side this season under coaches Chris Moore and James Marwood.
The coaching duo only joined Newcastle’s academy this summer as PIF continue to invest and overhaul the youth setup at the club.
According to the Chronicle, Newcastle coaches are “delighted” with Miley’s progress and his rise through the youth ranks.
Mason Miley signs scholarship deal at Newcastle United
Mason Miley can’t sign professional terms at Newcastle until he reaches 17, but the club are doing all they can to keep hold of him and continue his progression to the first team.
He is part of a group of Newcastle youngsters who have been handed a scholarship at the club on pre-professional terms.

Miley can now continue his progress with the Under-18s as he targets a full professional deal when he turns 17.
Lewis previously spoke about his siblings, and when asked about his younger brother he replied “He is crazy that one, always flying around the house but he’s also a good little footballer! One to watch!”
He certainly is one to watch as he looks to follow in his brother’s footsteps.
