Newcastle United have been linked with bolstering their attacking options in January.
While midfield is said to be the priority when the transfer window reopens in a matter of weeks, a new forward is also thought to be on the agenda.
At their best, Newcastle are capable of plundering a lot of goals.
Still, with Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak not the most reliable on the fitness front and Miguel Almiron not scaling the heights he did last season, Eddie Howe’s options are pretty light.
As such, a lot of names have been linked.
Namely, Wolves star Pedro Neto. The Portugal international played a key role in helping his side draw 2-2 with Newcastle last month, though was subsequently injured.
Touted for a move to St James’ Park, there has now been a fresh update.
Pedro Neto transfer news: Wolves raise valuation
Indeed, last month it was claimed Wolves valued the 23-year-old at £50m.
However, TEAMtalk now report that valuation has raised by £10m up to £60m amid interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and PIF-owned clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

Pedro Neto to Newcastle: Perfect transfer looks unlikely in January
Hailed as “unique” by ESPN pundit Janusz Michallik for his ability to blow teams away, no one has registered more Premier League assists this season than Neto with seven.
At 23, the former Braga star fits in with the kind of age profile PIF have targeted at Newcastle since the takeover.
A right winger also capable of playing on the left, it is little wonder why Newcastle might be keen.
Still, that kind of money looks unlikely to be spent in January. Financial Fair Play (FFP) worries have not gone away, after all.
In an ideal world, Neto would be brought in to compete with Almiron and Jacob Murphy on the right side of the front three but perhaps it’s a deal out of the club’s price range during the season.
With major interest from elsewhere too, competing for him in the summer will not be easy.
