Many Newcastle fans might have their eyes on Euro 2020 but there is another major tournament taking place this summer.
In the early hours of this morning, Magpies star Miguel Almiron helped Paraguay to a 2-0 win over Chile.
On 33 minutes, Almiron set up the opening goal of the game, scored by Samu.
In the second half, he completed the win with a 58th minute penalty and sealed a man of the match performance.
The win takes Paraguay up to second in their five-team group. They have six points from their three matches so far.
That means they only sit a point behind Argentina and are a point ahead of last night’s opponents, with a game in hand to boot.

Some Newcastle fans on Twitter were keen to praise Almiron for his performance.
The midfielder doesn’t often win games on his own at club level, but Steve Bruce’s tactics don’t help him either.
