Some Newcastle United fans on Twitter have been saying the same thing after the club were linked with a loan move for Manchester United’s Brandon Williams.
The Magpies are reportedly interested in bringing the 20-year-old in on loan, and fans aren’t best pleased with the idea, with a number of supporters clamouring to see Jetro Willems brought back instead.
The Frankfurt full-back had a successful spell at St James’ Park last term where he became something of a cult hero, and there have been plenty of rumours about him returning to Tyneside in recent weeks.
This isn’t the first time that United fans have voiced the view that they want Willems to come back to St James’ Park either, but unfortunately, it seems as though their pleas are falling upon death ears as the club are now seemingly prioritising a move for Manchester United’s young starlet.
Williams wouldn’t be cheap to loan in either, he earns a mammoth £65,000-a-week, and even if Newcastle are only paying half of that, it’s a hefty sum.

This would be such a pointless use of a loan imo. Highly doubt Man United would let him go beyond a potential loan, so strengthening another PL’s starlet for practically nothing.
