Midfielder Henri Saivet left Newcastle United in the summer as a free agent.
The former Bordeaux man is still looking for a club, but says he is ‘ready’ to make an impact somewhere else.
As per French outlet Girondins33, Saivet says he has gone back to Bordeaux while he waits for another offer to come along.

“I was at the end of my contract with Newcastle,” he said.
“I’ve back to the Bordeaux region. I’m looking for a club at the moment. I’m waiting to find a great opportunity, an interesting project, to continue my career.
“I’m ready… I train all the time to stay as ready as possible and so that as soon as an opportunity presents itself to get back playing, I can take it and have fun.”

It just never worked out for Saivet at Newcastle. He was one of the leading players for Bordeaux, but couldn’t get to grips with the Premier League.
He is still only 30, and has plenty of time to offer another club something different if he can kickstart his career.
Clubs can sign him outside of the transfer window because he’s a free agent and that’s what he’ll be banking on.
