Newcastle United are set to face Liverpool without Alexander Isak, as expected.
The Magpies are preparing for their first home game of the season on Monday night, as they welcome Premier League champions Liverpool to St James’ Park.
The atmosphere will be intense, with the Alexander Isak situation ramping up the tension between the two clubs.
But the 25-year-old will not be involved when Newcastle face Liverpool, with the striker set to sit out a second consecutive Premier League game.
With no Isak once again, this is Geordie Boot Boys’ predicted Newcastle United XI to face Liverpool.

Tino Livramento starts at left-back against Liverpool
Eddie Howe looks set to name the same back four and goalkeeper that kept a clean sheet against Aston Villa last weekend.
That means that Kieran Trippier will be at right-back and Tino Livramento will be at left-back. That could be for the best, given how well Livramento played in that position up against Mo Salah in the Carabao Cup final.
Dan Burn and Fabian Schar were both excellent at Villa Park, meaning Malick Thiaw and Sven Botman will have to wait to make their first appearances of the season.
Aaron Ramsdale will also be on the bench, as he awaits his Newcastle United debut.

Jacob Ramsey on standby for Newcastle United debut
One player who could make his Newcastle United debut on Monday night is Jacob Ramsey.
Howe has confirmed that Ramsey is available to play against Liverpool, but he will likely be among the substitutes.
There is no reason for the Newcastle United manager to change his midfield three, with Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton preparing to go into battle against Arne Slot’s side.
Joe Willock could return for Newcastle, having recovered from an injury he suffered in pre-season.
Anthony Gordon leads the line at St James’ Park
With Isak absent and no new striker, it will be Anthony Gordon up front against Liverpool.
Gordon was lively through the middle at Villa Park, and will hope to cause the Reds real problems with his pace and movement.
He will be flanked by Harvey Barnes and Anthony Elanga, who is poised to make his competitive St James’ Park debut.
Jacob Murphy will be on the bench, despite being praised by Arne Slot in the buildup to the game.
Predicted XI to face Liverpool: Pope; Trippier, Schar, Burn, Livramento; Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton; Elanga, Gordon, Barnes.
