Former Newcastle United forward Papiss Cisse today made some rather interesting comments.
The striker stated that he would be keen on returning to the Premier League.

Cisse departed England’s top-flight back in 2016, after three-and-a-half seasons at St. James’ Park.
He joined Chinese side Shadong Luneng, before moving on to Alanyaspor and then Fenerbahce.
He’s currently a free agent and now, aged 36, he fancies another crack at the Premier League.
Cisse said: “I’m ready to play football in England, the Premier League, I’m ready.
“I want to come back to stay with my family.”

Since those comments, Cisse has now made an interesting post on Instagram.
An account by the name of ‘hoofit’ placed an old image of Cisse in a Newcastle jersey on its Story.
The Senegalese saw the post, and has shared it to his own Story.
Cisse thinking of Newcastle return?
Maybe it’s not something to be read into.
But on the other hand, it is just interesting that Cisse would share such a picture after making the comments he did.
Is it his hope or intention to secure another move to Newcastle?
It is probably unlikely, but some fans certainly want to see it happen.

Whether Newcastle officials would bring a move to fruition is entirely another thing though.
That said, Andy Carroll has (seemingly) departed the club, so maybe, just maybe…
