According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle United want to sign Tottenham Hotspur’s Oliver Skipp on loan.
The Magpies are still yet to make a breakthrough in the transfer market this summer, and remain the only Premier League club without a senior signing.
There have been plenty of players linked. Sadly, Steve Bruce has been unable to add to his already weakened squad.

Joe Willock is yet to return after his loan spell from Arsenal, while Andy Carroll has been released.
Meanwhile pre-season has been disrupted with star players facing a race against time to be fit for the Premier League opener against West Ham.
Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson have been missing due to illness and injury, while Miguel Almiron is yet to feature after international duty.
Newcastle need reinforcements, and Skipp would be an excellent signing.

The midfielder was at Norwich last season, helping the Canaries win the title. Skipp was one of the best players in the Championship.
He was named in the team of the season, alongside four former Toon players.
That’s why Newcastle fans are very excited about the possibility of signing him.
And it’s also why Spurs fans are desperate to keep him. A large majority of Tottenham supporters don’t want Skipp to be loaned out, believing he should feature in Nuno Espirito Santo’s first-team plans.
