Newcastle United head to Nottingham Forest this weekend, but may travel to the City Ground without some key players.
Alexander Isak, who was the hero in this fixture last season, looks set to be injured for the game on Saturday night, while Anthony Gordon could also miss out after picking up an ankle problem against Luton Town.
They are Newcastle’s two best attackers, so it is going to be a big blow to be without both of them.
However, the Magpies are not the only team who will be missing their best forward this upcoming weekend.
Chris Wood set to miss Nottingham Forest vs Newcastle United on Saturday
Nottingham Forest also have a big injury problem heading into Saturday night’s clash at the City Ground.
According to the Athletic, Chris Wood is going to miss the game against his former club, and could be out of action for at least the next six weeks.
The New Zealand international picked up a hamstring problem in Forest’s recent 2-1 loss to Arsenal, and it is now going to result in an extended spell on the sidelines.

That is a huge blow for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, as Chris Wood is their top scorer. The 32-year-old has got nine goals in all competitions this season, three of which came against Newcastle on Boxing Day.
Wood was incredible when he returned to St James’ Park late last year, inspiring Forest to a 3-1 victory.
But he will not get the chance to replicate those heroics on Saturday, with the £15million man set to miss out.
However, while one former Newcastle player will be missing, another is likely to start. Matz Sels signed for Forest on transfer deadline day, and the goalkeeper looks certain to start this weekend after making his debut in the 1-1 draw with Bournemouth on Sunday.
