Things have not gone to plan for Jamie Miley since completing a loan move away from Newcastle United.
The 20-year-old midfielder starred for Newcastle United in pre-season with Eddie Howe hailing Jamie Miley as “trustworthy” after his performance against Hull City.
However, there was no space for Miley in Newcastle’s first team so he was sent out on loan to gather more experience.
Miley has spent his entire career at Newcastle coming through the ranks of the academy but completed a loan move to League Two outfit Newport County in the summer.
He is one of six Newcastle players out on loan this season.

How Jamie Miley is doing on loan at Newport County
Miley joined Newport on loan in August and made his debut for the club in the EFL Trophy against Cheltenham in early September.
However, he was forced to undergo hernia surgery less than a week after making his debut and his next appearance did not come until late October.
He put on a solid display in his first league start against Gillingham and kept his spot in the starting lineup for the two following matches against Fleetwood and Tranmere Rovers.
However, his return to the side was short-lived. Just as Lewis Miley returned to fitness at Newcastle, his older brother has been sent back to the treatment room.
Jamie Miley suffers new injury setback at Newport
November was looking like a good month for the Miley family. Lewis returned to fitness, Jamie was getting a stretch of games at Newport and Newcastle coaches raved about Mason Miley – their 15-year-old brother.
However, Jamie Miley has now suffered a new setback which has seen him miss the last three Newport County matches.
As reported by Newcastle World, Miley has been suffering with back spasms that have left him unavailable to feature for Newport.

It is unconfirmed when Miley will be available next with Newport back in action next Tuesday against AFC Wimbledon – a side Newcastle faced in the Carabao Cup this season.
Miley’s loan spell so far has been nothing short of a disaster with the young midfielder already missing 13 matches this season.
