Jason Tindall provided injury updates for Newcastle United ahead of their game against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
The Magpies are looking to make it six straight wins in all competitions to give them an even bigger chance of qualifying for the Champions League.
Newcastle United moved up into fourth place in the Premier League with their win against Manchester United on Sunday, and now have a big chance of overtaking Nottingham Forest for third.
Eddie Howe missed the Man United win, but managed to send his congratulations over to Jason Tindall and his players for a dominant performance.
Talking to the press on Tuesday, Tindall confirmed that Joe Willock is available for Newcastle after suffering a concussion, which kept him out of the games against Leicester and Man United.
Now, the caretaker boss has made a new claim that is sure to please many Newcastle fans.

Jason Tindall shares Sven Botman recovery update
Sven Botman has been missing from Newcastle’s first-team squad since the beginning of February after picking up a knee injury during the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg win against Arsenal.
Thankfully, Dan Burn’s exceptional form for Newcastle means Botman’s absence has been less of a problem for the Magpies to deal with.
The injury was a big blow for Botman, who had only just come back from a lengthy layoff due to an ACL injury he picked up in 2024.
Howe confirmed Botman was out for eight weeks with his fresh knee problem, but Tindall has now confirmed some good news regarding the 25-year-old’s recovery.
Speaking to the press, Tindall said: “I’ve been really pleased with Sven Botman’s recovery. He’s ahead of schedule, he’s now back out on the grass and hopefully he’ll be back out there or back in contention very soon for us.”
Botman shared a photo of his recovery in Dubai, where he could be seen on the grass with a number of footballs in front of him.
The £35m man was due back in May, but if his recovery continues going the way it has then it could still be earlier than that.

Jason Tindall shares Eddie Howe update
It has been confirmed that Howe will miss Newcastle’s next two games against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa after being diagnosed with pneumonia on Monday night.
Tindall will continue to oversee the team alongside Graeme Jones for the foreseeable future.
It is now down to the pair to rally the troops for the remaining six games, with Howe’s involvement for the rest of the season in doubt.
On Howe, Tindall said: “He’s in the best possible hands and he’ll be back as soon as he feels he’s ready to come back. Your health is the most important thing, that’s why it’s so important that when he comes back he is able to lead the team as we know he does, which I’m sure he will do.”
