Newcastle United 2025/26 squad cost in full – Transfer fees and stats for every player

Add as preferred source on Google

Newcastle United are blessed to have one of the most expensively assembled squads in the entire world, let alone England.

Eddie Howe was left hamstrung in the 2024-25 season as he was unable to make many major additions to his squad, as Newcastle United came close to breaking PSR restrictions.

In addition, Newcastle had to sell Elliot Anderson and Yankuba Minteh, two players who’ve gone on to enjoy great success elsewhere.

But Newcastle had spent massively in the first two years of PIF’s ownership and a year of restraint and shrewd sales freed the club to splash the cash once again in 2025.

As a result, Newcastle have a squad that is worth hundreds of millions and here’s how much every player cost – as well as their stats for the 2025-26 season.

How much Newcastle United’s squad cost in transfer fees

PSR may have restricted their spending in 2024, but Newcastle still have a hugely expensive squad, hardly surprising given PIF’s limitless wealth.

The current squad for the 2025-26, with all add-on fees paid, costs £686.45m. That fee rises even higher to £721.45m when the players out on loan are included.

Newcastle had an outlay of £260m in the 2025 summer transfer window, by far the biggest spend in a single window since PIF bought the club.

Though they lost Isak, the squad is still one of the most expensively assembled in the league and they should be able to compete at the top end this season.
