Newcastle United have announced the signing of three teenagers, including Cameron Ferguson – the son of ex-striker Duncan Ferguson.
The club have also confirmed the arrival of Remi Savage from Liverpool, which was expected, and Charlie Wiggett.
The trio will link up with the Magpies’ Under-23s side.
Savage’s arrival from Liverpool is no surprise, having been reported by multiple outlets such as the Athletic earlier this month.
They claimed that Newcastle will pay Liverpool £250,000 in compensation for the defender.
Wiggett is also a centre-back, and arrives from another big club in Chelsea.
As for Ferguson, he recently had a trial with Newcastle, scoring in an Under-18s game against Sunderland.
The forward is 18-years-old, and arrives at the club from Tranmere Rovers.

Cameron’s father Duncan joined the Magpies in 1998 for £8million, signed by Ruud Gullit.
Best known for his physicality up top, Ferguson scored 12 times in 41 appearances for Newcastle.
The Scottish striker scored twice on his Toon debut, a 3-1 win over Wimbledon.
He was at St James’ Park for less than two years, returning to Everton in August 2000.
Cameron Ferguson will likely have to wait longer than his dad to play for the first-team, but hopefully he can go on to have a big future at Newcastle United.
Interestingly, on the same day that Ferguson’s son joins Newcastle, the 49-year-old is set to work alongside a Toon fan favourite.
Rafa Benitez is the new Everton manager, with Ferguson remaining as part of his backroom staff.
